Land of Giants is a creative initiative born out of two years exploring the mountains and valleys of the Himalayas, the Karakoram and the Hindukush - learning about the incredible biodiversity of the region - much of which is at risk.
We welcome you to join us as we work with talented artisans in South Asia to create handmade fine jewellery inspired by the mountains of South and Central Asia.
When you damage a patch of land at 14,000 feet above sea level, it takes years for any flora or fauna to regrow, as oxygen levels are so low. We want our work to reflect a different sort of passing of time, to be thoughtful and deliberate. Each piece is individually made to order by an artisan, and is unique.
Our aesthetic is deliberately delicate and lightweight, we hope for these pieces to be both precious and accessible. We work with mostly 21 and 18 carat gold, and use gemstones including uncut and coloured diamonds, sapphires of different colours and a tiny selection of vintage emerald pieces.
We hope you will wear these in your daily lives and carry the stories of these sparkling Sadpara blues wherever you may journey.
A portion of profits for each sale goes to supporting wildlife conservation efforts. During the course of our exploration of this world, we have realised that ongoing conservation efforts need to be sustained and supported, and in particular we are inspired by the work of the Himalayan Wildlife Foundation.
HWF operates at the edges of the earth and has founded Deosai National Park, the Fairy Meadows National Park, and much more over the last 25 years.
These are some of the most beautiful places on earth, and we are proud to support the conservation of wildlife, including the snow leopard, the Himalayan brown bear, the lynx, the wold, the golden marmot and so many more incredible species.
